An experienced neuro-psychologist is available in the event a comprehensive evaluation of memory and language function is required.

24-hour EEG and video monitoring

This device aids in ascertaining if the patient actually suffers from seizures and to determine the type of seizure to help determine the kind of treatment required.

Advanced imaging modalities

A full range of modern epilepsy imaging technology such as the powerful 3-Tesla MRI, SPECT and PET scanners offer superior diagnosis, resulting in accurate treatment and after-care.

Epilepsy Surgery

A highly specialised service conducted by specially trained neurosurgeons and a team of support personnel with epileptology experience. Complex cutting-edge techniques in epilepsy surgery include awake craniotomy, where the patient is kept awake while the tumour is being removed, in order to test the patient's speech or movement functions.
